Wet Weather Fails to Dampen Spirits

Spirits were high at the 2018 Dowerin GWN7 Machinery Field Days this week despite inclement weather on the first day of the event. Dowerin Events Management Chairperson Nadine McMorran said over 22,000 visitors attended the event, just 9% short of 2017 figures. “After good rains thus far into the season, farmer’s confidence levels were high at Field Days which translated into tremendous sales for our 750 exhibitors, with some reporting record breaking sales figures” Mrs McMorran said. “We had mixed weather over the two days, with rain and wind on Wednesday but a pleasant and sunny Thursday, this is reflected in
