The Dowerin GWN7 Machinery Field Days is the largest and most successful agricultural expo in WA and the third largest in the country. Over 770 businesses exhibit at the event, which attracts in excess of 25,000 visitors over the two days in August.

In 2016, an Equestrian Exhibit was introduced to the event, in response to visitor demand. The new exhibit attracted 34 equestrian businesses, 10 presenters and thousands of horse enthusiasts from across the state.

Businesses included a wide range of equestrian products and services including Saddlery, Floats, Clubs & Associations, Stockfeeds, Stables & Accessories, Fencing, Therapies, Clothing and Training. Demonstrations and Clinics covered Natural Horsemanship, Dressage, Trick Riding, Barrel Racing, Reining, Carriage Driving and Working Horses. Information Sessions were on Saddle Fitting, Red Light Therapy, Equine Massage, Show Preparation and First Aid.

Building on the success of the inaugural exhibit, 2017 is expected to be bigger and better!
