Dowerin Events Management is a community owned organisation responsible for running events in the Wheatbelt of Western Australia. The Dowerin GWN7 Machinery Field Days, which has a 52 year history, attracts in excess of 770 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors, making it the most widely recognised event run by DEM.
But in addition to the Dowerin Field Days, DEM have also organised and assisted with many other events over the years, including rodeo’s, 4WD events, machinery training days, car shows, sheep dog trails and agricultural shows.
As a not-for-profit organisation, all of the income generated through running events, is injected back into the Dowerin community and surrounding towns. DEM provide fundraising opportunities, make donations and offer funding to a wide range of community groups, contributing to the success and the survival of the region. DEM have contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars in recent years, supporting major community projects such as the Dowerin Community Club and many smaller projects including the Cunderdin P&C Playground Upgrade. DEM are always looking at ways to improve the Dowerin Community and the region as a whole.
